Last week Wednesday (21 Mac 18), Kumarasan called me, he said he had a dream. In his dream Swamy Jeganathar appeared and waved to Kumar, showing sign inviting him to visit Swamy. Immediately, without any hesitation, we plan to visit Swamy the next day morning.
The next day, we moved from Kuala Kangsar sharp at 0600 hours and hit North South Highway. It was a chill morning and not much car on the highway. We drove in a normal pace and reached Tapah exit around 0730 hours. As this is our 1st visit, we had to use waze (very handy) and it is only 5 minutes from the exit. The Ashrama is at Kampung Raju, Jalan Tapah (old road) nearby to Tapah Fire Station.
The day before, I was sharing this story to my mom, and to the surprise, my mom born at the village and she met Swamy personally. According to her, when she was still kids, she and her friends used to pluck flowers and hand over to Swamy to place on the alter for prayers. Swamy used to take care of the temple. (How lucky my mom was?, personally encounter with a great Saint).
It was a small road heading to a village, and the Ashrama was just at the corner. Small temple but with a big parking space (parking no need to worry). Immediately after parked our car, we washed our legs and went into the temple. Not much crowd, as it was a working day. There were few ladies and a priest. Most of them were meditating.
There is another story that shows the greatness of Swamy. According to the villagers, there were lots of poisonous snakes around the temple those days, many children were bitten and also being killed. One day, the villagers went to Swamy to sought for help and shares their grievousness. Swamy made an agreement with the snakes to not to bite anyone in the village and since then there is no snakes around the temple. Even, some says, when Swamy plucks flowers for prayers, the trees will 'bend' it selves to ease Swamy to plucks the flowers. That shows the Greatness of Swamy, He can communicate with the nature.
Upon coming out from the Ashrama, we saw a banner on the right hand side of the temple. The committee is planning to build new Ashrama and requesting for donation. Each square foot cost RM330.00. If you wish to donate, you may contact Dato S. Martaveran (012-6115765) or Mr A. Krishnan (012-3061009) for further inquiries.
It was a wonderful and very meaningful trip, we were very fortunate and lucky to have Swamy's blessing and invitation.
